Dr. Antonios Marsellos and Dr. Katerina Tsakiri—now husband and wife—were raised in Greece, immersed in an educational system rich in philosophy, history, STEM, and the arts. They later moved to the United States to earn their Master's and PhDs at the University at Albany (SUNY). Their careers took them across the Atlantic and back, gaining rich teaching and research experience in the US and UK, blending European, British, and American academic traditions.

They have held postdoctoral and teaching positions at institutions including the University of Florida, Nova Southeastern University, Florida Atlantic University, and Broward College (Florida); University of Brighton (UK); Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Union College, SUNY Albany, and Hofstra University (New York); Rider University (New Jersey); and the National University of Athens and National Technical University of Athens (Greece).

Dr. Marsellos, a Professor of Earth and Data Analytics at Hofstra University, conducts interdisciplinary research focused on identifying patterns in complex data across natural and biological systems. He uses data analytics and artificial intelligence to support a wide range of student research interests. He has co-authored over 200 scholarly publications and conference contributions with students from high school to PhD level.

Dr. Tsakiri, Professor in Business Analytics at Rider University, specializes in AI tools for education and predictive modeling. She has mentored students from diverse backgrounds and institutions, guiding them through data-driven research and applied analytics projects.

At ResForMe, we make authentic research accessible to anyone, anytime, anywhere. We train mentors and guide high school students, replacing frustration with curiosity—helping them explore real questions, present posters, publish findings, and connect with scientists.

Our students prove it works.

A local New York high school student published six times at conferences under our guidance and went on to earn a full scholarship to a top-tier university. An undergraduate student became first author on a peer-reviewed journal paper and secured a fully funded doctoral program.

Our Commitment to Privacy and Ethics

At ResForMe, we prioritize the safety and trust of our students above all. We respect the anonymity of every participant, ensuring personal details are never shared without explicit consent. Our sessions involve no AI recordings or automated surveillance—mentorship is human-centered and focused on genuine learning.

We do not release any student data to third parties. The only sharing occurs within the student's own research project, strictly between the student and their assigned mentor, to support collaboration and progress. This approach protects privacy while empowering students to explore and discover confidently.

Our Mission

As researchers, educators, and parents of three children—including one navigating high school right now—we understand firsthand the dreams, pressures, and potential of young students. Our goal is to provide the guidance we wish every motivated teen could have.

Students celebrating research achievements with certificates and posters

Any motivated student, with the right guidance, can become a researcher. We're here to unlock that potential and open doors to top universities and beyond.

Join us—let's turn curiosity into discovery together.
